Ardentes Clipei - Paris

We first met Romain from Ardentes Clipei where we meet so many people, at Pitti Uomo in Florence. It is in Paris however where you will find them in residence.

Rue St. Georges is a picturesque street in the 9th Arrondissement of Paris and Ardentes Clipei is a small but perfectly formed tailors store that carries a range of the finest accessories for men, including The Reference Library sunglasses of course.

We had planned to host a trunk show there last year, but that will have to wait until brighter days. Meanwhile, drop by the store if you are in Paris for some fine tailoring and and their range of accessories.

We think they are particularly good at coats which they offer in a fine selection of cloths from Fox Brothers, Holland and Sherry of Savile Row and other British Mills, in Donegal tweeds, checks and pinstripes. We also like their cavalry twill trousers.

Baudoin and Lange Belgian loafers, their classic Sagan's,  Simonnott Godard  hand rolled pocket squares, Lavabre Cadet peccary gloves, Begg and Co cashmere beanie hats and scarfs, John Smedley knitwear, Informale tailored casual jackets and trousers by Steve Calder and also Bennett Winch  travel bags and suit carriers, can all be found in the store and online in their own curated selection of Men's Accessories.

You can shop their selection from The Reference Library also on their website here.
