The Reference Library make all our frames from acetate that we source from Italian maker, Mazzuchelli. A reputation unequaled, Mazzuchelli provide the highest grade of acetate, naturally sourced from spruce tree's which are tapped for their resin. We turn to Germany for the best standard hinges and our frame makers, who are held in high esteem within the eyewear industry, use these elements to create sublime engaging pairs of sunglasses and frames, each pair finished individually.
Featuring a custom mid-century inspired typeface in gold, each pair of sunglasses comes in a presentation box. Inside are the sunglasses protected in a brown leather case made especially for us, that is designed to last and age in time. A deluxe quality pale green cleaning cloth is also supplied with each pair.
Each frame and pair of sunglasses made by The Reference Library can be fitted with prescription lenses at any opticians.
