Stevie by The Reference Library is a 70’s inspired, all-star aviator with a double bridge in tortoiseshell acetate with Pale Green lenses. It was in the 1970’s that rock and soul stars, flying high, adopted aviator sunglasses to shield their eyes from the sunshine, moonlight and good times.
The Reference Library make all our sunglasses and optical frames from Italian acetate that we source from the most famous of Italian makers, Mazzuchelli. A reputation unequaled for the highest grade of acetate, Mazzuchelli source naturally, resin from the spruce tree to provide the raw material.
Our hinges, from Germany, are of the best standard and our frame makers, highly regarded throughout the eyewear industry, finish and assemble each pair individually to create each pair beautifully refined luxury sunglasses.
The sunglasses internal branding features a custom, classic mid-century typeface. A soft leather case and a mint green coloured branded cleaning cloth, completes the package.
All frames and sunglasses by The Reference Library can be fitted with prescription lenses at any opticians.
